OUR TEam

Pastor Shawn has served as the Senior Pastor of 1st Assembly since 1999. He served as a traveling evangelist prior to becoming our Pastor. Pastor oversees, develops, and manages the pastoral team. He is the President of the church executive board where he & the members conduct the official business of the church. He answered the call to preach at 16 years old & has been preaching since.

Colby manages all church finances, church management (daily ops), and support staff. He also oversees the livestream media,  website/app development, and multiple serve team departments. Colby serves as the Treasurer on the church executive board. He is a key part in keeping things operating smoothly behind the scenes. Colby  previously served as our Youth pastor from 2012-2014.

Jimmy provides Christian counseling to our members and makes visits to many who are unable to attend in-person services or are in the hospital. Jimmy coordinates all funeral accommodations and works with families to ensure a service of remembrance and care. He also leads our men's ministry. Jimmy served as our Children's Pastor from 2007-2010.

Dylan leads our high school ministry, manages small groups (iGroups), designs our "Church Merch," and is the commissioner of our InBound youth basketball league.
Mikayla serves as our Worship/Music pastor for Sunday Services and oversees our youth worship teams. She also manages our social media platforms & graphic design. Dylan & Mikayla have served 1st Assembly since 2021.

Danette plans and oversees the weekly services for our pre-teen and Jr. high students as well as our summer camps for both programs. Danette also serves as the coordinator for the nursery and children's programs.  She is involved in the leadership of our InBound youth basketball league as well as funeral accommodations. Danette has served 1st Assembly since 2015.

Kathy serves as our office administrative assistant where she ensures smooth daily operations. As the first point of contact, she maintains all communication between departments, organizes the calendar of events, and oversees many other duties & responsibilities . Kathy plays a key role in helping 1st Assembly run seamlessly. She has been serving on our team since 2008.

Johnny makes sure that all of our facilities continue to operate smoothly. He ensures that all equipment, systems, and space is in working order. Johnny is always on the move behind the scenes to make sure things continue to operate as they should and keeping our grounds looking pristine. He also serves in our youth ministry as a pre-teen minister & Jr. High leader. He has served on our team since 2019.

Tisha ensures that our life center and youth facilities stay neat, tidy, and ready for ministry. She makes sure that the campus is not just clean, but welcoming and presentable for everyone. Tisha is a key part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. She serves as the Girls' ministry leader on Wednesday evenings & the Sunday Morning Coffee Leader. Tisha has served on our team since 2022. 

Samantha tag-teams the facility cleaning of the main sanctuary, offices, and classrooms with her mother. Together, they ensure that those spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained for both staff and those in attendance for ministry. Samantha  plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment for everyone. She has been serving on our team since 2023. 

Alice Jean tag-teams the facility cleaning of the main sanctuary, offices, and classrooms with her daughter. Together, they see to it that those areas are clean, presentable, and well-organized for the staff and those in attendance for classes or services. Alice Jean plays an important part in producing a welcoming and tidy space for everyone. She has been serving on our team since 2023.
